Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP)

A society, for both professional and amateur astronomers, which was founded in 1898 and has its headquarters in San Francisco, California. It produces a popular magazine, Mercury, and a journal of research papers, Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.
